Where wilderness and wisdom converge to discover your most fulfilling path.
WHAT OUR FOUNDING WOMEN EXPERIENCED
Real women. Real growth. Renewed purpose.
What happens when women step away from the distractions of everyday life and make space to listen to God, reflect on their lives, and explore what comes next?
Our first Soul Excursion in Breckenridge, Colorado, gave us a glimpse. Here's what our Founding Women shared.
“I prioritized myself, stepped out in faith, and didn't give myself an excuse not to.”
“Priceless. I was expecting to meet God, but the work He did was above and beyond what I thought or imagined.”
“ And Soul Excursion gave me the space to take those first steps.”
“At first, I wasn't very invested. But listening to other people share enabled me to share and be vulnerable as well. I very much appreciate you letting me get there at my pace and not pushing. You trusted God to do the work and He did.”
THE MOUNTAIN SETTING
“It was really what anchored the whole trip.”
WHY SOUL EXCURSIONS
Sometimes we need to step away to discover what matters most.
I create space for women to step away from life's distractions, reconnect with God and themselves, and discover what’s next in this season of life.
KATHY PIRTLE
Hi. I’m Kathy.
I facilitate a place for women seeking connection, fully with them-selves, nature, and like minded souls. For those who view personal growth as the greatest adventure.
HOW IT WORKS
Soul Excursions connects women through Zoom and meaningful in-person experiences. Before each excursion, we gather virtually to build connection and community, while also offering private and/or group coaching opportunities.
Together, we step into nature for intentional adventure, personal growth, and lasting transformation.

I had a full life navigating domestic and professional life. I’m so grateful for much I’ve experienced and accomplished. But I realized I had not fully known who God had intended for me to become.
In my early 40s I began heading out to remote places to immerse myself in the wilderness, mountains, streams, lakes, and places of solitude. There, I began to discover myself. This was the beginning of healing, peace, and deeper connection.
My soul came alive and I now feel I’m in the most exciting and fulfilling chapter of my life, and I thrive in coming together with women who seek inspiration and fulfillment outside of the normal and expected roles and duties of modern life and maybe feel stuck or unmotivated to step into their very own next step.
I invite you to join as we come together to feed our souls and each other.

You will know if this is a place for you if you find true interest in these areas of adventure.
LET'S CONNECT
Not sure if a Soul Excursion is right for you? I'd love to talk, answer your questions, and help you decide if this experience is a good fit.
Inner Terrain Excursions
Self-improvement. Personal development. Self-Help. So many labels. I think of it as continually challenging myself to be transformed. This is the inner terrain and I partake of “excursions” here just as I do in nature. We journey into psychology, spirituality, and all aspects of looking into the mirror at our own humanity, to better understand ourselves and what resonates with our souls.
Outer Terrain Excursions
I feel alive in nature. Grounded. Humbled. Centered. Nature was and is my main “medicine” in finding peace and purpose. Sometimes I embark on significant excursions just for myself such as spending 28 days on a solo hike through the Colorado Rockies or the John Muir Trail. But often it is just a day of hiking, paddle boarding, or floating down a river.
We utilize the wonder of nature to help open up our hearts, minds and souls to…more.
